//Let us go then, you and I// Hello there. I am Elizabeth. You may call me Izzie though. Whoever you are anyway. My journal is friends locked. This is only because I tend to write things of a personal nature that I'd rather not share with certain people. However, it is likely that whoever you may be, you're not in the category of 'certain people'.  //When the evening is spread out against the sky, like a patient etherised upon a table// That said, I suppose you want to know something about me. I'll share some trivial details then. I believe they are the best kind. I am mortally afraid of fish. I hate wearing shoes. I compulsively correct other people's spelling and grammar. I enjoy mathematics more than is healthy. I'm an insomniac. Occasionally by choice. I'm the worst cook in the world. I even have difficulties with toast. I frequently name inanimate objects. It's a sickness. I can't climb trees. My favourite word is superfluous. Not because of its meaning. I sing while driving, but not in the shower. I am prone to bouts of unstoppable and meaningless rambling. Sorry if it bothers you. I need only a reminder along the lines of "IZZIE! Shut the hell up!" and I'll stop. See, I don't notice I'm doing it. I have a slightly British accent and I don't know how I got it. People are always asking which part of the UK I come from, which pisses me off to no extent. //Let us go, through certain half-deserted streets// If you're still reading at this point then bravo for you. On the other hand, you must be leading a bit of a pathetic existence if you have nothing better to do. Sorry, that was a bit mean of me. What I mean is, I hope you find something nicer to do soon. If you still find me tolerable by this point, perhaps we could be friends. I am quite friendly, if a little odd. Comment on the friends only post if you like, I don't bite. One last note- I am Australian, I spell colour with a u.
